YAY! Cant wait to get over this hump day because I have a three day weekend waiting for me! Jason and I are probably going to the Minnesota State Fair and will be in search of some super yummy treats! Also, do not forget that I will be giving away my barely used (pretty much perfect condition) Kate Spade bag on Instagram. (click here to enter)

Being true to your style can be difficult when there are so many haters out there. It is really hard to feel good about wearing an outfit without having confidence. If you have read my post about Why I Started Blogging, you probably remember that I struggled with this for a really long time. Here are a few tips to help you overcome the insecurities and feel more comfortable in your #chardonnaystyle.

  1. Haters Gonna Hate– There will always be someone who has a different opinion, idea, and preference than you do. It is so important to be true to yourself and rock the style that you love, even if people do not have the same taste in clothing. It is ok to be different.  The world would be a boring place if everyone dressed the same.
  2. Embrace Your Inner Fashionista– You may see an outfit in a magazine and really love it, but think that you can never pull it off, but you can!!! This thought has probably crossed everyone’s mind at least once. Instead of saying you can never pull it off, try it on. Mix and match pieces until you find a way that you feel comfortable in that outfit. Maybe it’s switching up the shoes, or trying a different pair of pants. Where there is a…….will there is a way!
  3. Feel Confident, Look Confident– The last, but definitely not least, tip is confidence. We all have it in us to be confident. You just need to find it and embrace it. Once you feel confident in what you are wearing, others will notice it. Now you can rock all the ruffles, stripes and pearls you want!

So many people have said to me that they love what I am wearing, but could never pull it off. Hopefully, with these tips, you will be able to feel confident and beautiful in any trend or style that you want to try out. Remember, you can always send me an email or direct message if you have questions. Now, go and explore your #chardonnaystyle.

Cheers,

Taylor
