This week is flying by. I cannot believe that it is already November. Before we know it there will be snow on the ground.

You guys, I have been living in this plaid shirt dress. It is so comfortable and, not to mention, super cute. However, I was not always in love with the dress. When I first saw it on the rack, I thought it was seriously adorable, but not for me. I was skeptical because I’d always thought that wearing plaid made someone look like a lumberjack. I must have been feeling adventurous that day, because I tried it on. It was amazing! It was love at “second” sight. Turns out plaid dresses are now one of favorite fall pieces. I just needed to give it a chance.

Plaid is a hot trend this fall. There are so many plaid shirts, dresses and scarves to choose from this season. It can be hard to know which ones to pick or how to style them. I am kind of a girly girl and wanted to dress it up a little bit without looking ridiculous. I decided to pair my plaid dress with a quilted vest and over the knee boots. This seemed to do the trick. If my outfit could speak, it would say to all the plaid haters out there, “Do lumberjacks look this cute?

Well friends, that is all for now! Go and explore your chardonnay style.

Cheers, Taylor
